Library board splits over impeachment of Jones

With the budget vote and trustee election set for Thursday, September 4, the Woodstock Library board voted to research how to impeach trustee and candidate Jesse Jones for publicly speaking against the proposed annex plan after the board approved it. But according to its own bylaws, the board did not have enough affirmative votes to carry the resolution.
