Woodstock makes progress removing buried fuel tanks

Efforts by Woodstock officials to persuade Bearsville property owners to remove underground oil tanks that pose a threat to the town’s water supply are slowly but steadily paying off, as the number of buried tanks that are still in service has dwindled to a handful.
