“Where once a tannery operated, this sculpted rock ledge and pristine waterfall over which the Tannery brook flows has been a hidden jewel for many years,” starts the dedication that will be formally placed at the new Woodstock Waterfall Park between Galerie BMG and Sweetheart Gallery on Tannery Brook Road, set for a special ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon, May 18. “Constructed on land generously donated by Lila and Norman Bacon, inspired by The Woodstock Beautification Task Force, and built with the assistance of the Town of Woodstock, the Woodstock Waterfall Park is dedicated to the citizens of Woodstock, with acknowledgement of our shared history, and as a symbol of commitment to our environmental future.”
