The opening instructions for Woodstock’s Daily Bread Soup Kitchen each Monday, Wednesday and Friday are complex but well delineated online. The venerable program, started 20 years ago this spring, works with a wealth of volunteers, from donating restaurants to the various folks who come in, week after week, to make coffee and set things up…and provide the good cheer that reminds everyone in attendance from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Christ’s Lutheran Church that it’s things like this that make for the wholeness of a community.
