The Town of Lloyd will hold its annual Easter egg hunt this Saturday, March 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., beginning with ages newborn to 3 years old in the fenced-in courtyard on Main Street and continuing at 15-minute intervals between each age group. The 4-to-6-year-olds will have their hunt at the Methodist Church at 11:45 a.m., followed by a noon egg hunt for 7-to-9-year-olds on the front lawn of the Highland Library. The event will also include a visit from an Easter Bunny named Hamlet, who will be on hand and provide storytelling for the kids, as well as an “H” contest for kids that if filled out correctly (challenging them to know the history of Highland as well as businesses beginning with H), will award them with a prizewinning basket. There are also prizes hidden inside the eggs. For more information or to download the form for the “H” Egg-Hunt contest, go to www.townoflloyd.com and click on “Committees” for the Lloyd Events and Beautification Committee.
